DeVeau H. Oliver, longtime resident of Oblong, IL passed away August 27, 2017 at Cedar Ridge Health and Rehab Center in Lebanon, IL.
The daughter of the late Cyril O. Hughes and Lovean Slow, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Oliver, one son Mark H. Oliver, and one daughter Lynn (Oliver) Ritchie.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Stephen (Lynda) Oliver of O’Fallon, IL; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Oliver was a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Oblong as well as numerous civic and social organizations in Oblong and Crawford County during her lifetime.
A private family memorial service will be held. The family requests that in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to the American Diabetes Association and may be mailed to Pulliam Funeral Home P.O. Box 121 Oblong, IL 62449.
